These Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses delivered by Therapy Courses
UK.
By booking a course with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these
Terms and Conditions.
1. About Us
1.1 Therapy Courses UK is a trading name of Therapy Courses – Julie Streeter.
1.2 Training is delivered at:

1.3 These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between Therapy Courses UK (“we”,
“us”, “our”) and the student (“you”, “your”).
1.4 We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The
terms in force at the time of booking will apply to your course.
2. Course Bookings
2.1 All courses must be booked in advance using the course booking form or by email
confirmation.
2.2 Course places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2.3 A place on a course is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
2.4 Therapy Courses UK reserves the right to decline a booking or training application where
necessary.
3. Payment
3.1 Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3.2 Training dates cannot be reserved without payment.
3.3 Payment is accepted by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
3.4 All course descriptions and prices are correct at the time of publication.
3.5 Therapy Courses UK reserves the right to amend course prices, course content, training
materials or course dates where necessary.
4. Student Cancellations
4.1 If you cancel your booking 7 days or more before the course start date, you will
receive a 50% refund of the course fee paid.
4.2 If you cancel your booking less than 6 days before the course start date, no refund will
be issued and any outstanding fees will remain payable.
4.3 All cancellations or booking changes must be made in writing by email to:

4.4 Failure to attend a booked course without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation and
is subject to the above conditions.
5. Course Changes or Cancellation by Therapy Courses UK
5.1 Therapy Courses UK reserves the right to change course dates or cancel a course due to
circumstances beyond our control, including illness, insufficient bookings or unforeseen
events.
5.2 If a course is cancelled by us, students will be offered:
• An alternative course date
or
• A full refund of the course fee paid
5.3 Therapy Courses UK is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by students,
including travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.
6. Assessment and Certification
6.1 Students may be assessed through:
• In-class practical exercises
• Tutor observation of practical skills
• Written assessments where applicable
6.2 Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the required training and assessment
activities.
6.3 Therapy Courses UK reserves the right to withhold certificates until all course fees
have been paid in full.
6.4 Students are responsible for arranging suitable models for assessment days where
required.
6.5 Additional assessment sessions may be required if competency standards are not met and
additional fees may apply.
7. Student Responsibilities
7.1 Students are expected to actively participate and practice practical techniques during
training.
7.2 Students must attend training in a professional and presentable manner.
7.3 Hair should be tied back and nails kept short where practical treatments are being carried
out.
7.4 Students must behave respectfully toward tutors, other students and models at all times.
8. Health and Safety
8.1 Students and models must follow all health and safety instructions given by the tutor.
8.2 Therapy Courses UK reserves the right to terminate training if a student or model behaves
in a disruptive, aggressive or unsafe manner.
8.3 In such circumstances the training will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be
issued.
9. Participation and Liability
9.1 Students participate in practical training sessions at their own risk.
9.2 By attending a course, students confirm they are physically able to participate in the
practical elements of the training.
9.3 Students must inform the tutor before training if they have any medical condition, injury
or physical limitation that may affect their ability to participate safely.
9.4 Therapy Courses UK will not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage sustained
during training unless caused by proven negligence.
10. Insurance
10.1 Students are responsible for ensuring they hold appropriate professional insurance
before carrying out treatments on members of the public after completing training.
10.2 Therapy Courses UK accepts no responsibility for treatments carried out by students
following completion of their training.
11. Course Materials and Copyright
11.1 All manuals, training materials and resources provided by Therapy Courses UK remain
copyright protected.
11.2 These materials must not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for teaching
purposes without written permission.
12. Replacement Certificates
12.1 Lost or damaged certificates can be replaced upon request.
12.2 A fee of £20 per replacement certificate will apply.
12.3 When requesting a replacement certificate you must provide:
• Your full name
• Course name
• Course date
13. Photography and Marketing
13.1 Occasionally photographs or short videos may be taken during training sessions.
13.2 These may be used for:
• Therapy Courses UK website
• Social media pages
• Marketing materials
13.3 If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please notify the tutor before the
course begins.
14. Data Protection (GDPR)
14.1 Therapy Courses UK is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with
the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act
2018.
14.2 Personal information collected through booking forms may include:
• Name
• Address
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Course information
14.3 This information is used solely for:
• Managing course bookings
• Communication about training
• Issuing certificates
• Internal record keeping
14.4 Therapy Courses UK will never sell or share your personal data with third parties
unless required by law.
14.5 Personal data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary for training
records and certification purposes.
14.6 You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and request
corrections where necessary.
